Serving others was at the heart of the earthly ministry of Jesus. The Ministry Center and Pay It Forward are at the heart of the ministries of SABA Churches. These two ministries exist to give opportunities to meet physical needs of people but most importantly to meet Spiritual needs. If you would like to find out how to Volunteer and be a part of this life changing ministry follow the directions below and see how you might be a part of this awesome ministry.
Volunteers
Ministry Center
The Ministry Center is open two days per week to provide assistance to those in need. Food, help with utilities and a conversation with a Chaplin are all part of this ministry. You might find a great place to minister as a Chaplin or intake worker.
Pay It Forward Thrift Store
Pay It Forward exists to provide resources to the Ministry Center. This is accomplished by the profits from the sale of merchandise. Volunteers are always needed to help prepare merchandise for sale.

How do I volunteer?
That’s the easy part, call Melanie or Lisa and schedule a time to tour the facility and see what opportunities await.
How many hours do I have to work?
That is dependent on your schedule. We have volunteer opportunities Monday-Saturday. Some serve several days a week others only one day for a few hours. Dr. Appointments, vacations and time with the Grandkids can all be scheduled around.
What do the volunteers do?
Volunteers are need to help sort donations that come in to the Thee Store as well as pricing and tagging items. Restocking and running the register are also essential positions. We have volunteers that serve as intake workers, Chaplins and packing food boxes for the needy.
Who can volunteer?
If you are a born again believer and a member of a SABA church you qualify. If you are a born again believe and a member of an evangelical congregations, talk to Melanie for details.
